How long have you been in business?
Over 35 years, Resources Unlimited has been in business selling management training tools around the world.
What is your primary product or service?
Resources Unlimited focuses on selling DiSC profiles to help people understand the how and why people do what they do. In addition, we train companies the benefits of using Six Thinking Hats and Lateral Thinking to improve a companies idea generation process into actionable items and to build individual engagement in a teams solution.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Most of my business experience is working with leadership teams and operational teams inside multiple different types of industries. In every industry whether the company is small or large, I experienced the same problems: people conflict, worthless training, impractical training and the list goes on. When I found the DiSC assessments, Six Thinking Hats, Lateral Thinking, and Five Behaviors of a Cohesive team training materials, I knew the value they could add to a companies team morale which leads to a companies bottom line. This is the reason I became interested in this line of business.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We offer the best customer service and support to our trainers and clients so that they are able to fully benefit from our training's. Our reputation within the training world is known for quick turn around and the ability to match our trainers to our clients needs.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our primary office is Des Moines, IA. We also have team members working from home in Orange City, IA and Kansas City, KS and they meet our clients whenever a need arises.
