How long have you been in business?
TPG Companies founder Paul Kirpes began a consulting practice in 1976 with a motivation to work for positive change and a commitment to do well by doing good. Driven to bring performance-based counsel to not-for-profit and charitable organizations, he established TPG Philanthropy Group, Inc. in 1989.
In 2005, Kirpes added TPG Management Consulting (now TPG Strategy & Management Solutions, Inc.) - expanding TPG's services into the corporate sector. In subsequent years, TPG Leader & Leadership Development, Inc. TPG Recruitment & Executive Search, and TPG Business Intelligence & Innovations, Inc. came into being - both evolving from related work TPG had been doing with clients and partners over the years.

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Paul grew up in his family's business. At only the age of 13 he was given his first paid business/organizational development consulting job. His thoughts and writings have appeared in numerous books, periodicals, trade publications, and blogs. Paul has more than 35 years of business ownership experience with and has been recognized for his uncanny ability to see innovative solutions and opportunities in the face of challenges others view as difficult or even impossible. He has orchestrated and led business turnarounds and new business initiatives and has provided consulting, coaching, and training to diverse entities - from multinational corporations to national and global NGOs.
